"I have now eaten the crostata and I'm sorry to say I've downgraded it to 2 stars. I thought the cider vinegar was way too sour. I would use a caramel sauce instead. I didn't think the mascapone added anything special and would not use it.....maybe cinnamon ice cream? I roasted walnuts to sprinkle on the top for crunch. I did like the filling""

"I was so excited to try this recipe after seeing it on Worst Cook, but after assembling, I'm not so sure......it's in the oven now.
Filling: This gives you three times the amount you need. Do not use half, it will run out and down the sides while baking....it's doing that right now.
