Loved it! Very flavorful, impressive for company even. I did them in a non stick skillet and they came out perfect. When the chicken was cooked i put the bacon on top then the cheese and put the lid on and turned burner off, in 1 minute, all melty and yummy.

Now this is cooking....an all afternoon event. :) For me it took about an hour longer for the beans to become done, otherwise it was very good. Husband gave them thumbs up! It is satisfying to cook from "scratch" like starting with the dried beans. My friends think I am crazy for even wanting to try. I need more "foodie" friends ha ha ! Thanks Re"

This was delicious! I made only 2 minor changes. 1. I used a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes instead of just plain diced. 2. Instead of sugar, I used the same amount of brown sugar. Will keep this recipe on file for future use, as I call it, a Keeper!"

Made this for first time today.

I followed recipe just as is. I did weigh my zucchini at the grocery store to be sure I had the right amount, per the recipe. It turned out GREAT! Husband loved it too. Nice to have a
vegetarian meal once in a while! Next time I will add some garlic too, as noted in some other reviews....
