These are wonderful although I didn't have the fruit suggested, the basic recipe worked for me with almonds and apricots.

I baked this for my family this evening and each agreed this was excellent. Ted's instructions with the rolling the pastry from size 12 inch down to approximately a size 8 inch pie brings the filling to the top which was crisp and wonderful. We substituted mushrooms instead of olives and plenty of them. The pastry rolled out to the perfect size, e"
