These cookies are very good. It's true they are cake cookies, not crunchy. I thought with two cups of sugar plus the glaze they might be too sweet, but they're perfect. I loved this stew! I mean, I really loved it. I sort of used the recipe as more of a guideline instead of truly following it...I didn't use any tomatoes, used coconut flour instead of wheat, eyeballed the herbs, vegan broth instead of beef and whatever wine I had (think it was sweet red). Anyway it came out delicious and was so easy."

Delicious! I made some adjustments so that I didn't have to go to the store - used veg broth instead of mushroom, skipped the fennel and chives, and added celery, thyme and garlic (which I threw in with the herbs). Just served it for dinner with two meat eaters and everyone loved it! Full of flavor and so easy. It probably needs to sit for about 20...
