Just made this and put in the frig'... I am a bit worried about it...because she says to have an edge of 1/2 inch to 1 inch of cherry jam...no way will a 3/4 cup to that... I think you need 1.5 cups of jam. i wonder what it would be like with orange marmalade and almonds and chocolate. using orange rind in the chocolate. I will cross my fingers...

Well, I cooked the entire cake in the iron skillet. Rather than removing the pineapple from the carmelized brown sugar and butter I added chopped roasted pecans and cherries.
