"Very good cake...Suggestion: PLEASE DO NOT USE MORE THAN 2 1/2 CUPS OF SUGAR (even with this amount the cake is really sweet,,,i am a born southern girl and love it sweet and buttery..i used 1/4 cup of lemon juice to off set the sweetness and wish i would have use lemon extract oppose to vanilla. Note: 3 cups of sugar is used in many pound cake "
