Mmmmm! So tasty! I used half & half instead of heavy cream, french bread insteady of brioche and I added cinnamon! 5 stars, for sure. Very easy and quick :)"

Reviewed Marinara Sauce

This is a basic, but excellent recipe for a marinara sauce. I used it in eggplant parmesan and it was fabulous.

I added 1 tablespoon of sugar instead of 1/2 teaspoon because it was too sour/acidy, and then I blended it. After that, it was PERFECT!""

This was SO GOOD! It took me longer than the indicated time says, but it was WELL worth the time! :) I found the seasoned rice vinegar and green curry paste at Whole Foods and I substituted the chicken for scallops. Making it again tonight with chicken breast :)""

Reviewed Fettuccini Alfredo with Zucchini Ribbons

Apr 9, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Very tasty! I only cook for 2 so I added only 1 zucchini, thinking it would be too much, but next time I will add 2 zucchinis in order to get the lower-carb-effect. I added shrimp & cooked them with the sauce. The sauce wasn't the same as the full-fat version, but it was delicious all the same. Left overs were delicious! :)""

Reviewed Sweet and Sour Chicken

This was excellent! I followed other recommendations and tossed the chicken with some cornstarch before pan frying it. I also added the ginger to the sauce since it didn't indicate where to add it and threw in a clove of garlic for good measure. It was very tasty and just like chinese take-out :) My husband was impressed!""
