Reviewed lots o'meat lasagna

I have made the sauce from this recipe for several years now, for spaghetti, baked ziti, lasagna.... I have substituted venison for the beef, changed the tomatoes to what ever I have on hand, used mild, sweet or hot sausage and it always comes out great. I do add a little sugar to cut the acidity. Always a hit.

I have made this recipe several times and find it is very flexible when I don't have all the ingredient - but wonderful exactly as written too.
