About Me
Retired 65 (young in spirit) mother of 2 daughters, age 25 & 27. We were in NYC this past Memorial Day and saw Chelsea Market for the first time. How exciting!! I watch everyday. Cookbooks are like gold to me. Have been baking and cooking after moving out on my own. My Mom never let me do anything!! I took lessons at high schools, small cooking schools, etc. I am always asked to make my famous black & white cheesecake w/choc. oreo crust. This must be made in a waterbath with a piece of aluminum foil over the shelf above so it won't crack. I have tried to learn every trick of the trade. I don't know what I would do without "The Food Network. " I have to stop here because the last time I tried putting in this info I ran out of time. Love you, Lois
