"This recipe has been requested by my family for the past 3 years. I use "cook and serve" pudding instead of instant. I have changed the "cookie layer" a few times. For my adult dinner parties, I use the thin chocolate wafers. Then for a child's party, I use oreos.

"I have made these for years. Everytime I made them, they got rave reviews. The past couple if years, I have referred MANY people to this website for this recipe. I followed the suggestion below to dip them only half way and then to "drizzle" the chocolate on top. Looked so much better.

"I usually make a smaller version, that I love with a 8x8 pan w/ whole pecans. This recipes is GREAT for larger crowds and tastes just as amazing. It was very easy! I broke my foodprocesser a while ago and used a pastry blender for the crust and it came out just fine.
