Reviewed Sweet and Spicy Asian Wings
"We couldn't stop eating these! I grilled the wings instead of frying and I made the sauce with vermouth instead of mirin. The recipe is super easy and worth doing. I think my family will request these weekly now. "
Reviewed Crawfish Bread
"I oregano instead of parsley. Also, I didn't have cajun seasoning so I used my own blend of individual seasonings. I also sauteed 1/2 of an onion with the garlic and added about 1/2 a cup of mozzarella cheese with the Monterrey Jack. It was great. I'm sure the recipe good as is, but I used what I had in the pantry."
Reviewed Easy Chicken Curry with Vegetables
"I didn't add the tomatoes because I watched the show a few more times just to be sure and I can't find where she added a can of tomatoes to the dish. I was afraid of it being too soupy as the previous review complained. I too, added sirracha to it because I found the coconut milk made the dish more sweet than spicy, as I thought curry paste would ""
Reviewed Homemade Mini Corn Dogs
"I had a hard time getting the mixture to stick to the cornstarch, and when it did stick, I could still taste a little of the cornstarch after frying. Still, they were delicious and I really like the sweetness to them.""
Reviewed Creamy Mashed Potatoes
"Please stop posting about how unhealthy this is. So are the recipes that ask you to deep fry, recipes loaded with cheese and oils, ribeye steaks, cakes and cookies, etc. Everything in moderation. No one said make this every night or even once a week. It is delicious and that is what the star rating is for . . . Not for most healthy recipe! Give me""
Reviewed Chicken and Black Bean Tostadas
"This was delicious! I forgot I was eating healthy. Like some of the other reviewers below, I baked the tortillas instead of frying them, and I used chicken breast with a mexican spice rub. I know olive oil has good fats in it, but I still left it out of the dressing and just added a little more lime juice. It was really good and my husband and son"
Reviewed Spice Rubbed Ribs with Chipotle-Honey Glaze
"My family LOVED these ribs. I made too much of the BBQ sauce but I'm glade I did. We used the chioptle glaze on everything including hamburgers and ribeye steaks. I always do a dry rub on my ribs similar to this so I thought the flavors went together well. I can't wait to cook them again.
Reviewed Sweet and Spicy Short Rib Tacos
"I made this exactly as the recipe stated and waited two days before we ate it. The meat was fall apart tender but I was so disappointed with the flavor of the sauce. I agree with SPF1313, what happened to the "sweet & spicy" part? It wasn't either. I ended up adding hot sauce and a dab of honey. Maybe I'm just not a fan of ancho chilis.
