My Activity

Reviewed Stuffed Rack of Lamb for Two

"Absolutely to die for and sooooooo simple. My only error was not heating the plates. Although I lay the lamb on a bed of garlic and chive mashed potatoes, the meat cooled down quickly. Thank goodness I didn't slice the lamb prior to serving. I'll know better for the next time; which will be soon. Thanks Ted....this is a winner!""

Reviewed Wilted Romaine Salad with Roasted Pears, Taleggio and Hazelnuts

"Made this salad as a starter for a special dinner guest. We both loved it. The creaminess of the cheese paired with sweetess of the bosc and the crunchy texture of the hazelnut was SPECTACULAR. Was expecting the tallegio cheese to be more pungent but was pleasantly surprised. I ran out of champagne vinegar so I used pinot grigio vinegar which was ""

Reviewed Rib-Eye Steaks with Smokey Arrabiata Sauce

"Good but not great! I found the sauce a little bit salty. Next time I will reduce the salt by at least a half teaspoon. I am going to use the remainder of the sauce on grilled chicken and fish as it is low calorie and very tasty Will definitely make the diet tasty but guilt-free.""

Reviewed Crawfish and Andouille Sausage Pizza

"I have made this pizza quite a few times and it is always a hit! My son has requested it as part of his birthday dinner. The sauce has a nice little kick and the butter adds a silkiness. Since I could only find frozen crawfish, I let them sit between 2 paper towels after they were thawed just to make sure that all of the moisture is out of them. A""

Reviewed Nick and Toni's Penne Alla Vecchia Bettola

"I had never made vodka sauce before. My mom usually makes it for the kids and says that it is labor intensive. Rainy day and I had all of the ingredients so I decided to give it a try. Both husband and son just raved about the sauce. I asked them to compare it to grandma's sauce and was told that this one is ten times better. Hubby is even pushing""

Reviewed Spicy Thai Noodles with Ginger Peanut Dressing

"DELICIOUS EVEN WITH A MAJOR BOO-BOO! I was in a rush and missed one of the major ingredients (CHICKEN). What I ended up doing was pouring the chicken marinade over the warm noodles and when they were at room temperature, I added the peanut dressing. My family just raved about the noodles. They liked it even better the next day right out of the ref""

Reviewed Paul's Crafty Mac N Cheese with Pancetta

"Very rich! Just a few changes: (1)In the future, I will use a different size pasta. I found the ziti too big. (2) I used 1 1/4 pound pasta which for my taste was too much. I like my mac and cheese very creamy. I'll use one pound of pasta in the future. I did not salt the pasta water and was glad that I didn't. The parmesan and sharp provolone che""

Reviewed Ceviche

"Excellent with a couple a revisions. It really bothers me when people post negative reviews when they have altered the ingredients. I am however, posting a great review with a few necessary adjustments. I was not able to get sea bass but my fish monger assured me that halibut would be a great subtitute (which it was). I also used jalapeno peppers "
