"This is wonderful soup, very balanced in flavors. I too, could not find veal stock. I used an organic beef stock. I made my own bread and used a swiss cheese. I had a problem with getting it to set completely. I doubled the recipe, however, I was just a tad timid to double the corn starch amount. Everything was geat, except it did not set completely. "Delicious!!!!
I've made many lemon pies and lemon custards through the years. This is by far the best. I didn't change the recipe at all....except for adding an extra tablespoon of limoncella. I tried using a pre made pastry from the super market.
