My Activity

Reviewed Pumpkin Lasagna

"I made this recipe and my family loved it- people went back for thirds. I used mild sausage, brown rice noodles (for those allergic to gluten), and Cabernet Sauvignon for the wine. If you are expecting it taste like pumpkin, well, don't. I would suggest using the whole can of pumpkin and two eggs if you want it to taste it more pumpkin-like. This"

Reviewed Chocolate Mousse

"My family likes rich things, so we didn't have a problem with the intensity of this, but I can definitely see where some people would. Because there is no sugar, it is VERY chocolaty, but it is CHOCOLATE mousse...
But it isn't really the texture of a mousse; it is heavy, dense, and somewhat hard.
You really do need to strain the little chunks of g"

Reviewed Broiled, Butterflied Chicken

"I made this for my family, and they loved the taste. My mother was particularly fascinated with the rub under the skin, which is a must. I had a difficult time removing the keel bone, and I ended up just cutting through it. I did have to broil it a little more the the recipe said, but not much. I didn't use vegetables 'past their prime,' so I coul"

Reviewed Potato/Portobello Gratin

"Overall, this recipe is very good, but as mentioned in other reviews, could use a few changes. For me, I only had enough potatoes for two-and-a-half layers, so I would add on more potato. I also needed at least two cups of cheese, and I suggest using more than one cheese."

Reviewed Mashers

"This recipe is very simple and easy. The mixture of potatoes is brilliant- there is a perfect amount of chunks. I had to use all of the milk mixture and they still weren't creamy enough for me. I did add some of the garlic, definitely not all of it. I mashed them well so I didn't get any garlic-y chunks."

Reviewed Pan Seared Rib Eye

"This is barley a recipe it is so easy! It tastes exceptionally good, as there are few ingredients to get in the way of the steak. However, I cooked it exactly the amount specified, and it was rare/underdone, so I added one minute to each side in the oven and it was then medium-rare."

Reviewed The Shrimp Cocktail

"This is an overall GREAT recipe! It is super easy and fast. The cocktail sauce is perfect and the best I have ever had! It is a little on the spicy side, so if you don't like any heat in your sauce you can cut down the amount to 3 tablespoons. On the other hand, you could up it to 5 tablespoons if you like it super spicy.
The process goes even fa"

About Me

I am 13 years old. I am doing my best to do good in school for extra scholarship money to go to The Cooking Institute of America. I get almost all of my recipes from Food Network and Cooking Channel, and almost all of them are amazing! I have established the position of executive dessert and breakfast maker of my family. I enjoy cooking so much! I bring a different dessert to school every other week to get the opinions of my friends. Alton Brown is by far my favorite Food Network star, next would be Nigella Lawson, Sunny Anderson, and Kelsey Nixon. Thank you Food Network for inspring me!
