"My family loved this recipe. Made the night before - put the bread and egg in a bowl and tossed to coat (less eggs than called for, used liquid egg product). Topped with a little Splenda brown sugar. Used regular maple syrup (less than the recipe called for) so it was probably sweeter than reported in other reviews. Fabulous!"

"Fantastic and very easy even though it involves a few steps. I omitted the spice because this was for the kids and I wasn't sure they'd be on board with it - very rich, but very tasty. I'll add this to my potluck recipe collection and make again and again."
