Hungarian pepper is Paprika. Use as you would salt and pepper, a little goes a long way. You could also use a little old bay instead of the hungarian pepper.

We love, love, love this recipe in our house. Used it with pulled pork and it was perfect. I wouldn't recommend changing it at all, unless maybe a little less pepper for those who do not like a spicey bbq sauce. Gonna use it on wings for the big game tomorrow, cant wait. YUM!""
