Reviewed Beatty's Chocolate Cake

"This cake is fantastic! It has a rich chocolate flavor, and the texture is perfect--extremely moist and delicate. I only made the cake (not the frosting and made the following substitutions: 3 large eggs (for 2 extra-large and extra light olive oil for the vegetable oil. This may be my new go-to chocolate cake recipe. (This recipe yields a lot of batter--12 cupcakes and one 8" cake for me. "

Reviewed Stracciatella Semifreddo

"This is an excellent and easy recipe. My only complaint is that this dessert was a little too sweet for my tastes, but the texture of the semifreddo was perfect. I will absolutely make this again, but will cut down the total sugar by at least 1/4 cup.
