Reviewed Authentic Italian Meatballs

Oct 1, 2012 in on Food.com

I made these today, but I didn't do as directed. First of all I would never put raw meat in my sauce or gravy, I fried mine first or you could broil them (or they will fall apart). Secondly, I don't know many italians who cook oregano, oregano gets very very bitter when cooked too long(3 hours is toooo long). I never heard of cooking any type ...

I am only giving this one 3 stars because it didn't cook as instructed and took at least a half hour longer, even put it on convection over, was still raw when I cut it. Also the oregano over powered the other ingredients and oregano gets very bitter when cooked too long. I am not saying it was not good, it was very good but I expect cooks on h...

Nov 9, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

I made this recipe to a tee and it was so sour I thought my mouth would never stop puckering. I used Granny Smiths maybe that's why. Not sure. I have NEVER EVER made a Paula dessert that didn't get a 5 star rating. Guess I was due. Paula is the bomb.......love her.

She has a video on how to make these. I am having my son, his wife and their 3 children and 4 foster children for Christmas this year and plan to make this for the kids. Thanks Paula for being so creative with your desserts and everything else. I started watching Paula because she seemed so happy, just liked watching a happy cook on TV, now I am...

I followed this recipe to a "t". I thought it had way too much mayo, well it did for me anyhow. I will make it again with half the mayo and 1 cup of cottage cheese. I just dont like the taste of hot mayonaise. I am still giving it a 4 because the idea is great and the pie was much better cold the next day.

Nov 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

OK, go make this now! Its delicious and really gives meatloaf a bit of an sophisticated taste. This is the best meatloaf recipe I have ever found. Its a bit crumbly but that's ok because its soooooo moist. She's got a winner here, I have made it a few times.

Reviewed Lady and Sons' Chicken in Wine Sauce

Nov 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

I made this last week and didn't really have high hopes for it. I used cream of mushroom soup instead of the cream of chicken because I thought it would taste too much like cafeteria food. Much to my surprise this came out really well, the white wine is the "key" ingredient here! I will make this again and again, loved it. This paula lady knows...

Oct 23, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Its a wonderful cake batter and I am thinking of how else I can use the same batter, just makes a nice nice cake. The recipe was dilicious but I recommend using a spring form pan since it sometimes (not always) overflows and makes your oven dirty. The second time I made this I used two spring form pans and everything was wonderful. I am acutually...

I just got done making these and they are easy to make and taste really different and delicious. I wish the chocolate and PB would have melted more, but its still good. Next time I may try a Hershey's Kiss and some regular peanut butter. I used a Nilla wafer instead of the graham cracker crust, just easier. I am bringing these to my grandkids...

I am an italian cook, ethnic italian, I am sure her food is good its just way too time consuming to make. This dish was an exception, few ingredients and an amazingly delicious...
