I find these recipes don't always include ingredients/techniques as prepared on TV. Guy removed stems and seeds before soaking chilies and added chili powder to the sauce. I agree with harperoni, the amount of chilies seems double. My initial chili puree was bitter, got better after straining and tasted pretty good when I added half to the other"

Delicious home cooked comfort. Made fresh dumplings with the parsley and fresh chives instead of using a mix (recipe on allrecipes) and used a leftover rotisserie chicken for the meat and to make the broth the night before.""

Delicious and great alternative way to use eggplant. Used 5 scallions, plus 2 red peppers and ~1.5 cups snow peas too so I doubled the sauce recipe. Didn't have peanut oil or rice vinegar so used vegetable oil and apple cider vinegar instead. Would be great with pork if you wanted to add meat."

I only used the strawberry syrup recipe, but it was delicious. Using fresh picked strawberries I cut the sugar to 1/4 C and it was plenty sweet. Used 1/4 C orange juice. Added a little bit of pectin at the end to thicken it up a bit (because I had it on hand from making jam). Love fresh strawberry season, and this is a keeper! Tasted wonderfu"
