Well it was good but I have had better using Barbara Kafka's roasting methods spelled out in her book Roasting. The croutons seemed a waste the glaze at the end was unnecessary and I don't feel it really added to the flavor. I love the idea of washing drying salting and seasoning the bird with the herbs 24 hours in advance since it dries the skin...

First of all YUM YUM YUM YUM what a delicious chicken of course most things sladered in butter and herbs are great but boy this is a winner. The garlic seemed to want to burn a tad but I love garlic so it doesn't really matter if you don't like that omit the garlic otherwise enjoy I will be making this my go to sunday chicken meal permanently."

Holy Moley what a great recipe. One of the other reviewers plovell gave it a bad review but I think he/she read the recipe wrong. It takes 1 stick of butter in the recipe.
