Reviewed Sweet Potato Waffles
"These are amazing! I'm a strong believer of a bit of healthy experimentation, so I made a few changes...
For 2c all purpose flour -> I substituted 1c whole wheat all purpose 1c all purpose white
For 1c milk -> 2/3c oj a shot or so (all I had left) of pumpkin spice cream liqueur (yum!) almond milk to fill
a Tbs or two of clover honey
I also used 3 whole eggs rather than 6 beaten whites. The batter still came out a bit thicker than regular pancake or waffle batter, but it cooked perfectly. The waffles were fluffy and had just a touch of crisp. Topped them with honey and spicy, crunchy sweet potato chips :)
