About Me
I am a huge fan of the Food Network. I spend at least 15 hours a week watching either Ina, Anne, Giada, or Paula...I currently get the Food Network magazine. Outside of possibly meeting either of these wonder chefs, the best thing is watching them. Out of all of them, Ina Garten and Anne Burrell I find to bake the foods that emulate my taste the most. I am not afraid to dabble in the kitchen, but the Food Network has really heightened my kitchen prowess and made me a more confident cook. My ideal dream would be either to have dinner at Ina's or meet Anne at her restaurant!...I am retired..and I love to cook on the grille, have dinner parties and sing in my church choir. I was born in South Philadelphia, and cooking is in my Italian heritage.
Favorite Foods
Love to cook seafood, Italian dishes, and one pot meals. Not much of a baker, but learning that, mostly from Ina. My lasagne and white clam sauce has gotten raves...and I make a cold Neptune Salad that always is asked for a summer potluck picnics...My favorite restaurant locally is one called Cafe' Cibo, an Italian eatery known for it's deadly dipping sauce called "liquid gold"...and my other is a local place called "The Frog Pond", which serves up the best breakfast and kunch menu in all of the west coast of Florida, in my opinion.
