Reviewed Grits-and-Cheese Souffles
"I really enjoyed this recipe! I made 2 batches this weekend and it was a hit! I think next time I'll add some Jalapeno! it's nice and light with a surprisingly creamy texture. the mixture did not stick to the ramekins due to the spray oil/parmesean cheese. It was tricky to process in a blender. Next time I will use the food processer. Great recipe""
Reviewed Nut Brittle
"This recipe tasted great! The only issue is that it never hardened. I'm not that picky but I was hoping for brittle. I made two separate batches for the Holidays. Everyone will love them regardless. I do agree with one post- nuts are expensive but I got a good deal on planters at a wholesale market. ""
Reviewed Broccoli-Cheddar Soup
"This recipe was a hit! My Fiance' who won't each many vegetables really liked this soup! I should've waited a few more minutes for the pure to cool a little more before adding the cheese - it became grainy. I can't use regular milk/cream so we used lactose free milk. I added more salt to our taste and more cheese. ( cheese needed to be more pronou""
Reviewed Almost-Famous Swedish Meatballs
"OUTSTANDING and fun to make. I used ground turkey en lieu of meat and the results were fantastic as usual with FN recipes! This recipe is now in my "fave" book. I served with a white wine. I fried the balls in a cast iron, then made the roux, added liquids then replaced the balls in the pan to warm. I will make this again I promise!""
Reviewed Swedish Meatballs
"OUTSTANDING! I used 2.5 lbs ground turkey instead of beef/pork, added a small amount of garlic powder and chopped parsley. Will make this again very soon! perfect over egg noodles. incredibly tasty! pared with a nice white wine on the side.""
Reviewed Lemon Sauce for Chicken
"This was easy and quick. Worked just fine for our smoked chicken breast. Added flavor to corn as well. Will use again."
Reviewed Celery Polpette
"this is absolutely great! We accidentally put tomato paste in the mixture and it is fantastic!!!!!! so for the sauce, we used the reserved juice from straining the celery and made a sauce using more tomato sauce and corn starch, garlic, salt and pepper. The greatest recipe ever!"
Reviewed Chicken Patties
"I had to omit the vegetables - I substituted the garlic for powdered, added 1 extra Tbsp of bread crumbs and made the patties into 6 portions - Absolutely fantastic flavor! We put the burger on potato rolls and added fresh greens, made a mustard from mustard powder, water and sugar and spooned over 1 side of the roll ------ TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not dry and very flavorful. Thermometer was at 175 when we pulled off the stove. Let stand 2-4 minutes. Perfect!"
