loved this! the sour cream is key. I usually never add tomatoes to a macaroni salad but I made this recipe to the tee and loved it. I did seed the tomato before chopping it. Adds some nice color too. "

Wow, this is my new favorite! My only suggestion would be to not use butter and olive oil. We were in smoke city after about 3 minutes into the first side of the steak. I've seen in other 'au poivre' recipes to use vegetable oil, which does have a higher smoke point. I ended up needing to finish the steak in the oven and then finish the sauce...
