My Activity

Reviewed Pesto Pork With Polenta

"Quickest Sunday dinner ever!! Although I made major substitutions, overall it made for a successful dish. I only had 2 pork chops left and since I didn't have fresh herbs to make pesto, I simply marinated the pork with dry herbs and the remaining ingredients. I seared the chops on the stove (10 minutes on each side) and substituted the polenta "

Reviewed Classic Lemon Bars

"Are you serious with this crust? And the bars?? Flaky. Delicious. Scrumptious. Lemony. Sugary. Silky. Smooth. I'm releasing my inner pastry chef one recipe at a time. Super simple, a little time consuming but that's the love y'all! Make sure you adjust your sugar and lemon, I found it to be a little tart but that one last pinch of sugar was th"

"The best twist on chicken parm EVER!! A little time consuming but well worth it. I just substituted with dried herbs and the flavors were still spot on. I must admit, my babe and I ate this dish within 2 days. "

Reviewed Baked Farfalle With Escarole and Zucchini

"This dish makes me want to do more meatless dishes!! I love this dish so much and I love that the zucchini was still crunchy after I baked it. There's nothing like that "crunch" factor to really set a meal off. Of course I substitutes fontina for my double cheddar blend and it was just as good! Will definitely make again."

Reviewed Sunny's Easy Glazed Cinnamon Buns

"Great recipe! My puff pastry ended up getitng stuck together so I just rolled it out as is and it turned out great. I should have added more liquid to my glaze but all in all, it came out great for my first try. Will definitely be making them again and again. That apple was the perfect ingredient to make this roll pop!"

Reviewed Sweet Glazed Butterflied Chicken

"Sunny always hits it out of the park! Butterflying the chicken was sooo easy. My sauce didn't look quite as good as the one on tv, but it was damn good, not to mention sweet and savory. I even made a quick pan sauce with the drippings. Finger lickin' good. This one is definitely in my recipe box.!"

Reviewed Lemon-Garlic Shrimp and Grits

"OMG!! This dish received 5 stars from everyone in my house, including my brother, who I refer to as "The Mad Food Critic". Super simple and easy to make. Grits were velvety smooth and of course I added more parm to the grits. Shrimp.....please! You can perfect that with your eyes closed. The quick pan sauce at the end...THE BOMB! I love making"
