Reviewed black bean salad

Dec 7, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This salad was so good, fresh, crunchy, warm, and pretty to look at :) Definitely don't add 4 tsp of salt, that is a typo. I added some minced jalapeo to give it a kick, worked really well with the lime juice and chili powder. I also used leftovers in pita bread and turkey breast the next day, really yummy.

Reviewed apple-honey drumsticks

Dec 7, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

These were great! I used chicken tenders instead of drumsticks. For those who had trouble with the sauce, you have to REALLY cook it down and get all the water from the broth and apple juice out so that all you have left is the sugar from the apple juice and the flavor from the broth. It really does take 25 minutes but if you boil it on high it will...

Nov 12, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This was tasty, but I will definitely adjust next time...lemon curd is really sweet. I would probably use 3/4 of a cup of the curd and add the juice of the lemon as well. Other than that, this recipe was really easy to make and so tasty.

Reviewed falafel-crusted chicken with hummus slaw

This was great, and made for lunch the next day. Really easy to make, and the slaw is just amazing.

Reviewed grilled shrimp in lettuce leaves with serrano-mint sauce

Oct 14, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This was very tasty and very easy to make. I love cooking shrimp because it's so quick. The sauce was also really yummy. Simple recipe...however, DO NOT add 2 serrano chiles!!!! I added one and it was too spicy. Taste the chiles before you mix them in.

These were so good and so easy to make. The marinade is so simple and tastes so good, I will use it with other meats and veggie dishes in the future. I omitted the grapes but added cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions on the skewers.

The amount of sauce is ok for 6 ounces, but who cooks 6 ounces of pasta? If you're gonna make the whole pack, double the sauce. Don't overcook the shrimp, 1-2 minutes is more than enough. The olives were a great burst of flavor, I wouldn't leave them out. I would make this again. "

yummy recipe, but I had to make a few changes. The salad needed a little more acidity, the sesame oil was a little overwhelming, so I added a little extra splash of vinegar. Also, taste the marmalade before you use it, my sauce was SO sweet, I ended up adding several tablespoons of soy sauce to balance out the flavors. Otherwise, it tasted great. "

Reviewed Turkey Meatballs with Quick And Spicy Tomato Sauce and Whole-Wheat Spaghetti

Aug 21, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

yummyyy! it's a lot of chopping and grating but so worth it in the end. I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned and it still tasted great. My meatballs were a little dry, but that's not from the recipe, more from the turkey being very lean and I probably overcooked them in the sauce a bit, so watch out for that. Will definitely make again!"

Reviewed Salmon with Lemon, Capers, and Rosemary

Jun 26, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Yummyyyyyy. This was SO easy and quick to make. With prep and cook time the salmon was ready to eat in about 30 minutes. The only thing I had a little trouble with was wrapping the salmon in the aluminum foil. My advice: CUT A BIG PIECE, otherwise all the lemon juice and wine is going to spill even after you wrap if your piece is too small. "

yummmyyyyy these were SO good. word of advice: turn off the heat before you add the cocoa powder because it will burn very easily. and then turn the heat all the way down when you add the butter to allow it to melt. This worked great with me. Also, the tortillas fry VERY quickly, I burned my first batch because I underestimated the cook time. As s"

I am surprised at the reviews, this salsa is very bland if you follow it exactly. The ratio of seasonings to the amount of tomato is WAYYY off. I had to add way more salt, cumin, lime, onion, and cilantro because all you could taste was unsalted tomato. one 28oz can and two 10oz cans equal to 3lb of tomato. 1/4 teaspoon of salt to 3lb of tomato???"

These were AMAZING!!! and although it seems like a lot of work, if you make the peppers ahead of time and refrigerate them until they're ready to be fried, it is sooooo worth it. Don't overchar your peppers, if you do don't hold them from the stem because the stem will come right off of your pepper and make a hole at the top. Also, making sure the"

Reviewed Chicken Enchiladas with Roasted Tomatillo Chile Salsa

These enchiladas were a hit with my family. I baked chicken breast in the oven for 30 minutes and shredded it for the chicken instead of a store-bought. The reason I gave 4 stars is because there definitely was not enough sauce for the bottom and top of the enchiladas, so my enchiladas came out soft in some places and dry in others. Next time I w"
