Sauce is very pasty and a little bland. I even used those blue diamond wasabi almonds for kick. Not too much kick was achieved so I added red pepper flakes to my plate. I too added sun dried tomatoes, its hard to go wrong with olives and sun dried tomatoes but I'm sure I've had better dishes so I likely wont be making this again. "

Easy recipe for sure but not amazing. Sauce was way too sweet and I even left out 1tbl of sugar. Could probably use some hot chili sauce to give it a little kick, even out the sweetness. And maybe the addition of another veggie that's also less sweet. "

I'm only giving this recipe two stars because had I not read all the comments before hand and modified it, it would have failed. Plus the cookies were just OK, but I did add blue sprinkles to the edges to make them festive for the 4th of July. "
