Reviewed Cajun Catfish Cakes with Remoulade
"The catfish cakes were very tasty by themselves but extra special with the remoulade. Next time, I'll probably bake the catfish instead of grilling it on a grill pan because a lot of the flavoring stuck to the pan. Definitely a keeper recipe."
Reviewed Shrimp Scampi with Linguini
"Simple and good. A winning combination. Probably not the best shrimp dish I've ever made, but good enough that we'll make it again."
Reviewed Cajun Chicken Alfredo 2
"VERY tasty and definitely a keeper recipe for our home. My husband and I both loved it and it was extra special because we used oven-dried tomatoes picked from our garden.
I've always made Alfredo sauce from a package mix (like Knorr) or used a canned sauce, but now I know how to make Alfredo sauce from scratch and it tastes SO much better."
"In a word: WOW! It's recipes like this one that keep me searching for the next extraordinary meal. My husband said during dinner (no less than 10 times): "Wow, this is REALLY good". At the conclusion of the meal, he said, "That's probably the best salmon dish I've ever eaten".
The seasoning on the fish is hot and at first, it seemed too hot."
Reviewed Potato and Goat Cheese Gratin
"If you like goat cheese, you'll love this recipe. VERY easy to make. My husband loved it."
Reviewed Six-Hour Pork Roast
"The pork was incredibly flavorful and juicy. My husband and a guest raved about it. I'll definitely make this again."
Reviewed Smothered Pork Chops
"OMG, this was an incredibly tasty dish. The ingredient list is short so you wouldn't think so, but it was very, very flavorful. We will definitely make this again."
"I made this dish for my husband and a guest. Neither they nor I cared for it. The remoulade was too pungent and the shrimp too bland. I will not make this dish again."
