My Activity

Reviewed Cream Puffs

"They tasted great but my shells turned out a little flatter then I would have liked...I'd say take it easy on that last egg, better to have a thicker batter then not. I also dipped the top shell in chocolate, that was a big hit."

Reviewed Pan-Fried Pork Chops and Blackberries

"I thought there was a little bit too much salt in the recipe. It seemed to overpower the other flavors of blackberry, honey, thyme, onion and garlic. I noticed it a little bit but i definetly would have loved more flavor from those components and less from the salt. I would try to make this again with less salt next time tho!"

Reviewed Raspberry Filled Crepes

"This was an AMAZING recipe!!! I tried Strawberry jam, it was too sweet for my liking. I also have tried with eggs, turkey sausage, and cheese and it was even better! if your going with a savory crepe leave out the sugar! thanks giada =]"

About Me

What can I say! I am a bubbly person with huge personality that loves to cook...going to Michigan State University for grad school. I love living on my own with roomates because I get to cook from them and get feedback on all my reciepes. I love taking them and tweaking them to come up with my own creations. My pet peeve is people who don't use common sense, or don't take risks. Seeing people like Giada and Paula Deen who get so excited in the kitchen and have fun with what they do is what inspires me to cook too. Its my way to relax after stressful days at work, which tend to be a daily basis.

Favorite Foods

I love love love cooking chicken. There are just so many things you can do with it! I am infamous for my pancakes. My mom taught me how to do it and then I took off with it. I make all kinds of them. I have a basic recipe and then add things here and there to make them unique. I love cooking desserts as well, but pastries scare me. I can do it it just is so particular and I like to be more flexible. My favorite restaurant would be a chinese place in my hometown, Mundelein IL. Its the Royal Cantonese. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their eggrolls and mai tais. I can eat 6 of them LOL. I <3 Chocolate. anything chocolate. enough said =]
