Shared Recipe Grandma Brown's Beans

Jan 28, 2013 on Food.com

"Grandma Brown's canned baked beans are available in the northeast USA but not common elsewhere. They are very simple with only 6 ingredients named on the can. This is a process to recreate them faithfully. Note that these beans are not tomato based, they are thick not saucy, and they are only mildly sweet. The final product either from the can or f..."

Best and easiest fillet recipe - simple and always works great. One thing to note that I didn't do correctly the first time is to make sure to carefully follow the directions about first frying it "skin side down". Then you "turn the fish" which places the skin side up and "cook until skin turns brown". It can be confusing because it takes a while"

Great recipe. I served this at Thanksgiving and everyone was asking what kind of salad dressing I used so I printed out the recipe for everyone to take home. It is similar to the Kraft's Catalina dressing but much better - tangier and not so sweet and no weird ingredients (guar gum. Really Mr. Kraftypants! OMG I can't believe I said that.). And of...

We went out of our way to stop because...

no way - I'm not buying it, karentumberger. it says salt to taste but I trusted the recipe especially the way she glowed over it on the TV episode. I trusted this award winning chef's judgement. As I said, this wasn't sort of salty or kind of salty or too salty or even way way salty. It was toxically salty. Inedible. This person gave the same proportions...
