Always awesome! I make this every year when peaches are in season and it always gets big raves!! Take care in choosing the vessel you cook it in- I once chose a glass dish that fit everything perfectly but it needed to cook a bit longer than 45 because the center wasn't quite done.
I also cook the peaches with a vanilla bean which gilds...

As always AB delivers! I did not have evaporated milk so I tried a mad scientist experiment of boiling down whole milk. Even still it worked very well. Not soupy at all! Wonderful flavor and my 15 month old daughter scarfed it down. Thanks again Alton!!"

To those having difficulty or afraid to try because of negative reviews here are a few tips in no particular order: a line the oven below the pan to catch overflow b Dock the dough well before blind baking to prevent puffing c i've also cut the filling amount"

EXCELLENT!! As always Alton never lets me down. I did not do the panzanella but the turkey was fabulous! Ditto to nayray re: spinectomy...a little more difficult than anticipated. My turkey actually took a little longer to cook (about 25 minutes longer at 350) but still came out perfect. I threw a sheet pan with some root veg underneath to cat...

I went to the Harvard website as per other bloggers and followed that recipe sans the brioche dough ( I used another equally wonderful recipe) These turned out FABULOUS and not all that difficult for my first foray into yeast baking. Alas, I did not let them proof as long as recommended...I started at 7pm and finished by 1230am but still excelle...
