Reviewed Good Eats Meatloaf
"Excellent! Although I will agree with others that the 45 min is too low, I know for a fact that I always make this with refrigerated meat and therefore needs to get to 155 from a very low temp, so I just go by the thermometer instead of the time. I know not everyone has a thermometer, but please take into consideration the temp of the raw meat. That being said, I make the meatloaf with 1 pound of ground pork and 1 and a quarter pounds ground beef, 85/15. Like Alton says, "I said it was good, I didn't say it was good for you"! I put green peppers in to add a contrasting color with the carrot and it comes out beautiful and tasty! Thanks again Alton for another success!
