What a great tasty rub! I've made beer can chicken before with store bought blends but always prefer making my own blend to control salt content. I halved the salt in this recipe and cooked the chicken on the Weber. This rub is a keeper!! "

I subbed dry dill in for the fresh (basically turned tablespoons into teaspoons because I didn't have any fresh and they came out deliciously! Will be keeping this one as a quick go-to side dish as 9 times out of 10 I have carrots in the fridge. Thanks Ina!"

Used to make another cornbread by Pat and Gina. It was ok but I LOVED the technique: heat a cast iron skillet in the oven for a half hour and before pouring the batter in, melt some bacon fat into the skillet to create a nice crispy and totally delicious crust. Last night I came across this recipe looking for the other one and decided to try it."

Made this last night, followed recipe exactly, served with brown rice I made using Thai flavored stock instead of water. This was very delicious and super easy to make. The cooked marinade added a lot of flavor, so much that I think next time I won't bother using stock to make the rice. Tempted to try this with a rice or bean noodle for more of...
