I made this dish tonight and loved it! I read reviews & adjusted the recipe. We love spice, so I used 1# Hot & 1# Mild Italian Sausage & 1/2# Ground beef. Instead of water, I used 1 cup red wine, & 2 cups low sodium beef broth. I used Muri Glen brand for the tomato sauce & 1-29oz can Fire Roasted Whole Tomatos & chopped them. Whole is better quality...
