I thought that this was a very very good recipe. I was glad that I read the other reviews first before making it. There is no reason to put 12 tablespoons of butter in anything, I cut that by half. Amazing cake for very little effort! I usually half the recipe and it works just fine. Sometimes I also reduce the egg and make a nice warm spongy type cake rather than a molten cake.
