My Activity

Reviewed Drop Biscuits

"Ended up needing biscuits for my meal last minute and found this recipe. I halved the recipe as I didn't need to make that many biscuits and I still ended up making over 25 medium sized biscuits. The recipe is quick an easy, I would make this again, maybe only third the recipe next time though as it really does make a lot of biscuits."

Reviewed Chicken Stew with Lemon and Rosemary

"This is a great base recipe that is easy to alter according to your needs. My husband isn't a big pasta fan so I added diced potatoes to the pot to make it a little heartier. I also didn't make the roux and just left it with the homemade chicken stock. It was really excellent and since it was a one pot meal I can see this becoming a regular meal."

Reviewed Parsnip Muffins

"Absolutely brilliant! I know I put the parsnips in there but I could barely even tell they were there. Even my 15 month old enjoyed them. I'm considering using only 4-6oz of sugar next time.

Tweeks: I used half whole wheat flour and half AP. I used both fresh ground nutmeg and cinnamon. I used 4 oz of blueberry greek yogurt. I also used 1/2 tsp a"

Reviewed Mushroom Risotto with Peas

"This was amazing! I've made risotto a lot of times but this is the best recipe I've found. I used Oyster, Shitake and Baby Bella mushrooms."

Reviewed Fusilli with Spinach and Asiago Cheese

"So easy and flavorful! This will surely become a regular meal in our house. I used a veggie rotini pasta and instead of asiago I used pecorino romano. I doubled the tomatoes as well and instead of halving them I just slightly squeezed them with tongs as they were cooking to let out their juices."

Reviewed Lemon Broccoli Rabe

"Really enjoyed this. I went a little light on the oil and used the juice of half a lemon to compensate. It worked really well. The lemon really cuts down the bitterness of the broccoli rabe. I was surprised as I cook with broccoli rabe often and it is often quite over powering."

Reviewed Homemade Soft Pretzels

"Such a great recipe! The recipe was straight forward and easy. The only issue I had was even though I oiled the baking sheet the pretzels still stuck and it ruined the backs of many of them. In the future I will forgo to the parchment paper.."

Reviewed Chili Rice

"Such an easy and delicious recipe. I used ground turkey and instead of water I used extra vegetable stock I had on hand. It was so flavorful and aromatic. This is going into regular rotation at my house."
