"Despite the negative reviews from people who obviously don't know what true Tres Leche is supposed to be like and taste like - MAKE THIS CAKE if you want a deliciously decadent, richly divine cake that will satisfy your most insatiable sweet tooth and impress your friends! Alton, once again, has done it!!! I'm getting ready to make my 4th one and I follow instructions to the letter with one exception: As with some of the other reviewers, the whipped cream topping is very sweet. Reducing the amount of sugar by just 2 ounces makes it much more palatable and less "teeth cracking". Perfection!
