Reviewed Hot Corn Chile Dip

Oct 16, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

It was truly delicious and satisfying! I used frozen baby corn kernels instead of grilling corn. I appreciated all of the vitamins from the various vegetables and the texture they provided in the dip. A wonderful appetizer to bring for pot luck or game day at home. I used Frito and tortilla scoops to get every bite of this deliciousness.

Reviewed Spicy Pop Pulled Pork

Sep 1, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

It would have helped me to know the proper weight of a whole pork butt in the recipe because the roast I bought was a little too small, I believe. Only a small can of chipotle peppers in my pantry so the heat probably wasn't where it should have been for The Pioneer Woman's recipe. The sweetness was there from the brown sugar and Dr. Pepper. Aug 10, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The pie dough was wonderful, flaky; maybe a tad salty. Next time I will slice the apples a little thinner as Granny Smith apples tend to be firm and I will add a touch of cinnamon."

Apr 16, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The meatballs were delicious and tender . After browning and removing them from the pan/pot, I would suggest degreasing it before adding the onion to make the sauce or skim the top after the sauce is complete. I will add less wine next time and drain the whole tomatoes. This is a very good recipe."

Reviewed Mango Margaritas

Apr 6, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made this recipe twice, very good. Next time I would cut back on the sugar that goes into the drink because the jarred mango has enough sweetness. I liked the sugar/lime zest around the rim. This drink is delicious but "packs a punch". You may choose to cut back on the liquor."

Jan 12, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

We loved this recipe! Keeping the shell on the shrimp adds to the greatness of this dish; getting messy and dipping your bread in the sauce. I agree the shrimp need to be dry. I also agree salted butter is best to bring out all of those delicious flavors.

Ree's Perfect Spinach Salad was just that! Everything you expect in a great spinach salad with the wonderful flavors of the bacon, egg, sauteed mushroom and onion. Reviewed Chicken with Forty Cloves of Garlic

Jun 23, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The first time I made this recipe the garlic cloves melted into the sauce. This time I browned them, took them out and left them to add towards the ending of the chicken cooking process(ten minutes) and they stayed whole. Overall, although the flavors are delicious, the overall feeling of the recipe is another sauteed chicken idea. Missing the Wow"
