"This was excellent! My grocery store did not have organic oranges, so I just bought a bag of regular oranges and used 8 instead of 7; but I made sure I washed them well. The recipe says to steep the peels for 4 days, but I had the extra time so I steeped them for 12, however there wasn't much difference in the color of the vodka from day 4 to day 12, so I don't know how much difference it made. The simple syrup was easy to make and add. The following day I strained it through cheesecloth and then chilled it for a few hours. Voila, a wonderful, tasteful and worth-the-effort drink!
