Reviewed Homemade Chorizo
"Such a great recipe, I make it without casing and with ground turkey, will never buy the mushy stuff at the store ever again!"
Reviewed Parmesan-Roasted Broccoli
"Excellent! Works great with cauliflower also. I too left out the pine nuts & basil (didnt really work with my dinner theme) it was still delicious. We were fighting for seconds! Taking from other reviews that the garlic burned, I put the garlic cloves IN all of the olive oil and microwaved it for 20 seconds to infuse the oil, took my 5T out for ba"
Reviewed Miso Glazed Black Cod in Kyoto Red Miso Crab Broth
"Was looking for a better glaze for my cod than another listed on this site that got a lot of bad reviews for being too sweet. This was right on, I did add some garlic & ginger to the glaze/marinade, elevated the flavor so much more! Did not do the 2nd part (broth) of the recipe though, just wanted a nice miso glaze for my cod, yum!""
Reviewed Whipped Potatoes
"BF said these were the best mashed potatoes he's ever had! And he does NOT like mashed potatoes very much! The 1T salt was a bit much, I stopped after about 2 tsp and wished I had put only about 1 tsp otherwise still 5 stars!""
Reviewed Good Old Country Stuffing
"I always use this recipe minus the rice and add some dried cubed cornbread instead, comes out delicious!!! Use jimmy dean sage sausage also for some extra yummy sage flavor, it wont overpower with the dried either. ""
Reviewed Pumpkin Seed Brittle
"Never got the amber brown color in the 25 mins, so I kept boiling it as the recipe states "until it reaches amber brown color" and eventually it crystallized. In the trash. BOO!""
Reviewed Watermelon Margaritas
"Instead of spending all that time picking out the seeds, just puree it in the blender & run it thru a fine mesh strainer!! (OR if you're lucky to have a fresh & easy nearby, they have pure fresh watermelon juice!) Put a few sprigs of mint in with the simple syrup while it was boiling gave a little extra fresh flavor. Easy, simple & refreshing! YUM!""
Reviewed Kansas City Style Pork Ribs
"Had to tweak the BBQ sauce recipe a bit, but it is our favorite now! Decrease the water to 2 cups, decrease cider vinegar to 1/3 cup. Increase paprika to 1/2 teaspoon, and add a clove of garlic to the onion saute. This should take care of any of the thinness and over-vinegary taste concerns. Cook on low for about an hour, turns out perfect!"
