"Bashing this recipe because it isn't an "authentic Cuban recipe" is absurd. She doesn't claim this to be "authentic" at all, and it's GOOD so honestly, who cares?
I thought one of the best things about cooking was sharing culture and adapting it. Where would we be if Italians didn't adapt pasta from the Chinese or if Cajuns didn't adapt French food? I think it's great that people want to support their heritage, but there's no reason to get upset because other people are adapting your food to fit their lifestyle. In fact, I really think people should be proud of that."
