Very good...didn't have the wine so I used chicken stock instead. I also used one green and one red pepper with mild sausages. I think next time though I will use hot sausage and serve it over extra wide egg noodles or mashed potatoes. ""

My husband and I loved this meatloaf. I crisped the bacon in the oven and it stayed crispy even in the meatloaf. I added a few tablespoons of grated onion. My husband is really into spinach these days so we gave this recipe a whirl. I took some other posters advice and grated in half a shallot and a clove of garlic. I also baked it for an hour.
