1. roast broccoli first; olive oil, salt and pepper - 400 about 20-25 mins
2. brown cubed ham in butter

After reading the review about milk getting curdled, I thought it would be better to cook broccoli...

Another winner for Melissa. I didn't realize how much I loved leaks! We actually grew them in our garden this year. Here it is NOvember in New England and they ready!

Thanks Melissa.""

A KEEPER! really good wings. I did mine in the oven. One reviewer suggests a couple of mins under the broiler to crisp them up a bit which I will try next time. These were the best hot wings ever. I smother mine in blue cheese. Oh yeah, BABY!""

Ina does it again! I loved this recipe. I took a tip from another reviewer and sauteed the shallot, garlic and rosemary in some of the butter first. I find this takes some of the bitterness out of the garlic and just improves the flavor all around. We had fresh shallot, garlic and herbs right from our garden, picked at the time of preparation. I loved this recipe. Really nice flavor and definitely cheap enough. I think an indoor dutch oven like the one she used to cook this recipe on the show, is the best kitchen item you can own. She's really, really good and is rapidly becoming one of my favorites on foodnetwork."

this recipe really impressed me. I have never tried to make my own pasta but like Giada said, it's not that difficult. Anyway, I made a little more dough and filling since we all have pretty big appetites. Someone made a suggestion to use Ina's Marinara Sauce recipe and that looks wonderful so I would try that next time. Here's the one change to the...
