Reviewed Wacky Cake
"Our family has made this recipe for years, although we increase the cocoa to 5 heaping tablespoons giving the cake a dark chocolate flavor. Use canola oil, stir in chopped pecans or walnuts and dust with powdered sugar. The cake is delicious, not too sweet or rich, and has healthful ingredients."
I am from a foodie family-- everyone has a sensitive taste palate and we cook almost everything from scratch. I took a lot of food science courses in college and I like Alton Brown because he is accurate and teaches food prep in a fun way.
