Our family has made this recipe for years, although we increase the cocoa to 5 heaping tablespoons giving the cake a dark chocolate flavor. Use canola oil, stir in chopped pecans or walnuts and dust with powdered sugar. The cake is delicious, not too sweet or rich, and has healthful ingredients."
