My Activity

Reviewed Classic Cheesecake

"N.Y. Style Cheesecake is amazing. I first learned how to make it in a Boces class in Valhalla, N.Y.. It was much like this one. It was a very rich cake that usually fed me for a while. I even bought recently a cheesecake pan that brought back so many memories of that class. This recipe just like the classic is a winner, recipe.

Reviewed Three-Cheese Macaroni

" My mother would make something like that growing up. That dish really warms you up on a cold winter day. It great, the memories, and good times you have with great food, and family, and friends. The combination makes it almost taste better.

About Me

I have a passion for food and cooking.  My food blog is ken-foodandcooking.blogspot.com.  I have had the fortune of learning from some great chefs, cooks, and my mom who is the best cook.

My inspirations are nature.  My grandfather taught me much about the importance of not messing with nature when it comes to food products.  He wouldn't use any chemicals to treat his foods he was growing. Organic was his approach.  His farm taught me a lot.  I love to cook for my family and friends.  Great food and good times go hand in hand. Memories of my youth inspire me to cook and search for new recipes and explore the world of cooking and food.  Every day new ideas I see on the Food Network and other places inspire me to try new recipes.

Favorite Foods

Favorite foods to cook are home cooking.  The complicated dishes are great, but home cooking is the best.  I am famous for my creme au caramel.  I also love to eat chicken parmigian it's amazing.  Another, is cervelle fried with some lemon and capers.  I am known for my souffles.  Another way I like to cook is on the grill, during the summer it's a great way to cook great food.

My favourite restaurant is without a doubt McDonald's.  I know when I eat there it is always going to be good and I can depend on it no matter where I am in the world.
