"Absolutely delicious!!
I followed the recipe except for the following (small) changes:
I used about 1/8 of a cup of white wine to deglaze the pan after the bacon had cooked, while I had the onions and garlic in it.
I also used a pinch of brown sugar instead of white sugar for some extra caramelization.
