Reviewed Brown Rice Salad with Citrus-Thai Basil Vinaigrette
"AWESOME!..We made this as part of a Thai-inspired meal for Mother's Day this year and it was a bit hit. Tastes fresh and scrumptious...room-temp or cold...paired with Thai barbecue skirt steak. You could substitute any favorite diced fresh vegetable...it's the dressing that makes it great...even better the second day."
Reviewed Scones
"...this is an excellent basic scone recipe. I've tried it as is, as well as substituting the cranberries for orange zest and 1tsp minced fresh rosemary......also orange zest and chopped candied ginger. I turned the dough out (in 2 batches) directly onto the parchment paper then flattened it by hand and scored it into 8 pieces each....phenomenal!
Reviewed Stuffed Artichoke Hearts
"This is a tasty and light alternative to the other calorie-laden stuff we eat all season.....and very pretty too......I made my own dressing as always. The only drawback is, getting the center out of the artichoke heart without destroying it......pretty tricky. Good thing I only had to make enough for 4 people (2 each!) because about half of the artichokes did not end up looking like lovely little cups.......but they went to good use in a quiche!
