This is a tasty rendition of the traditional Pot Roast Carbonnade - a beef stew with onions and Belgian style beer and a lightly sweet and sour finish. If you didn't use these traditional ingredients, you probably made a great beef stew, but you didn't make Pot Roast Carbonnade. Give the recipe and ingredients a chance to shine. ""
