My Activity

Reviewed Fried Smashed Potatoes with Lemons

"The potatoes fell apart which was really frustrating, but in the end were quite delicious. The outside was crispy and the inside was smooth. I used regular red potatoes, sliced so they were closer to fingerling size. I also was lazy with the sauce - I had some lemon herb Philly cooking cream so I thinned it with a bit of broth, heated it up and us"

Reviewed Roasted Sausages and Grapes

"Delicious! I halved the recipe for 2 people, but still did the full recipe for sauce (I.e. wine and balsamic.) I used only hot Italian sausage and it was a great flavor combination. We are full and happy. Thanks Ina :)"

Reviewed Stove Top Mac-n-Cheese

"My husband prefers stovetop mac n cheese and this is our favorite recipe! It is as easy as the blue box, but a million times better! We have tried many variations with different cheese and veggies and it is always great!""

Reviewed Lasagna Rolls

"Good, but needs some oomph. The combination of marinara and bechamel is really good, but overall the rolls were kind of blah. Will make again with hot sausage to give some depth of flavor. ""

Reviewed Asian Marinated Pork Chops

"Yummy! We did a pork tenderloin on the grill instead of pork chops, but it was great. The glaze is a good combination of tangy and heat. The glaze didn't reduce as nicely as Melissa's on the show, but it was so good. It would be great on chicken too!""

Reviewed Sesame and Peanut Noodles

"Very good! We switched cabbage out for julienned carrots because that's what we had in the fridge and it was delicious.""

Reviewed German Potato Salad

"Very good, but I cut the vinegar in half and used 1/2 tablespoon of Dijon mustard. ""
