Reviewed Brined Herb-Crusted Turkey with Apple Cider Gravy

"My turkey was AWESOME! Yes, there were a lot of steps, but totally worth it. My sister is the turkey skin eater in our family. She announced it was the best skin she'd ever had! What a compliment to Anne. I was concerned that the turkey would have too much of a garlic flavor(sure smelled strong while brining in the fridge but it was the perfect blend of veggies, herbs & spices. The only trouble I had was finding a vessel large enough for the 20 pounder I bought and all the liquid. I do wish I'd seen the suggestion to put it in a cooler...that would have been so much easier..and not taken up the space in the fridge. I'll try that method next year, and the year after etc.. LOVED IT!

Reviewed Roasted Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips and Brussels Sprouts

"the dish was as beautiful on my Thanksgiving table. However, I wish I'd read the comments about some of the veggies not being completely done. I would have put them in the baking dish at varying time, or tent with foil as one review suggested. overall, taste was great.
